Look Learn Live’s first year hosting a booth at the Lone Star Rally proved a success, but only after torrential rains on Thursday cleared way for the glorious weekend. Some media outlets estimate 500,000 rally goers attended. The motorcycle safety team had the opportunity to meet and talk motorcycle safety with hundreds of those riders at the annual Lone Star Rally this past week in Galveston.
Texas A&M Transportation Institute’s (TTI’s) motorcycle safety team had the opportunity of meeting and talking motorcycle safety with many hundreds (thousands?) of riders at the annual Republic of Texas Biker Rally this past week in Austin. The Rally expected 50,000 participants this year, and we tried to meet as many as we could.
Items shared with rally attendees at this year’s event were:
- Ride Safe/Save a Life pens
- Ride Safe/Save a Life tire pressure gauges
- Ride Safe/Save a Life keyring flashlights
Many brochures are still available. Please come by and pick some up at the Southeast Texas Outdoor Expo July 19-21 in Beaumont. Stop by the exhibit booth, introduce yourself, and pick up your free items!
