As you may be aware, there is currently proposed legislation to move the DPS Motorcycle Training Unit to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). We are pleased to announce that the update on Motorcycle Training and the TDLR at the April 25 TMSC meeting will be presented by representatives of TDLR! Join us to welcome and hear from Carla James, Deputy Executive Director of Resources and Licensing Services, Mike Arismendez, Deputy Executive Director of Regulatory Affairs, and Ray Pizzaro, Director of Education and Examination Division.
Reminder: If you are planning to attend the April 25 meeting, RSVP by emailing Christie no later than noon on Tuesday, April 23 and indicate if you will drive a State Vehicle, Personal Vehicle or Motorcycle, and if possible please include the license plate number – this will speed up getting your parking permit when you arrive at the new TTI Headquarters building (1111 RELLIS Parkway, Bryan, Texas, 77807).
