“I’m a Biker & I Ride” reaches more than 45,000 views

The “I’m a Biker & I Ride” video has reached more than 45,000 views and 200,000 impressions on Facebook and YouTube. Launched last Monday, August 29, the video showcases real motorcyclists and reminds motorists to look twice.

The words are simple, but powerful:

I’m a biker and I ride.
I ride because it’s the most fun I’ve ever had.
Because it’s the closest thing I can get to flying without actually being in an airplane.
Because it’s freedom.
I am a veteran.
I’m a NICU nurse and a cancer survivor.
I’m a retired police officer.
I’m a daughter.
I’m a mother.
I’m a father, a grandfather and a great-grandfather.
And I am a rider.
I look out for you.
Please look twice for me.
Our lives are riding on it.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered to be a part of this video.
