At the March 11 Texas Motorcycle Safety Coalition meeting Chris Beireis was chosen as the new TMSC chairman.

Beireis has been a member of the coalition for three years and has been riding for most of his life. He has organized and led group-ride activities for Triumph through their RAT group, and has participated in different riding and safety oriented activities for other groups.

Beireis says, “After obtaining my Rider Coach certification in the MSF, I started recognizing the need for rider education and safety along with public awareness for riders. After becoming a member of the TMSC and participating in some of the different functions and projects with other members, I stated to realize there is much more work to do.”

His goals for the coalition include:

  • To enhance outreach to other stakeholder groups to encourage more participation and involvement.
  • To review and reassess the current five-year plan to find the areas of accomplishment while determining what areas still require focus and attainability for the plan period.
  • To establish new goals to prepare for the future direction of the TMSC for the next five years.

Congratulations, Chris.
