Crashes by time of day:

  • 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. – 17 percent
  • 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. – 37 percent
  • 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. – 36 percent
  • 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. – 10 percent

Crashes by time of year:

  • Winter (Dec. 21 – March 19) – 20 percent
  • Spring (March 20 – June 20) – 29 percent
  • Summer (June 21 – September 21) – 30 percent
  • Fall (September 22 – December 20) – 21 percent
